BD Lodge is an exclusive private lodge on the Bartholomeu Dias Point boasting long stretches of un
spoilt beaches. This tropical paradise is situated 30 km north of Inhassoro, in the province of Inhambane, Mozambique
. The lodge accommodation in several ocean or lagoon facing chalets, built on stilts,
leading onto lit boardwalks which wind between exquisite vegetation. The chalets, restaurant and bar are built with traditional materials and all provide panoramic views of either the ocean, BD Island or the lagoon. Chalets provide self catering and full restaurant facilities will soon be available (July 2008). Days can be spent lounging by the pool, lying on the beach, taking river cruises on a boat or Dhow or going on day trips to nearby BD Island where a picnic lunch can be enjoyed. BD Lodge offers many activities including fishing, paddle skiing, canoeing, water skiing and bird watching. The BD Point is excellent for fishing.
